Matt White Polyolefin 178mic with a Supertack Adhesive BS5609 certified
A durable synthetic sheet that looks and prints like paper, but with the benefits of a film. Printable with all traditional print methods including digital dry toner, Indigo, Inkjet, thermal transfer and offset.
Designed to withstand the harshest of environments. The microporous structure enables it to form strong bonds with adhesive, toners and inks for long-lasting printed information and adhesion.
The microporous structure of the Teslin absorbs inks and toners, locking in the print with rapid drying and static resistant.
Applications:
Identification, barcode, safety & warning labels. Shipping/drum/pallet labels. Medical & pharmaceutical labels. Blackout/over-labelling. BS5609 certified (section 2) and ideal for GHS compliant labels.
Features:
Excellent durability. Water & chemical resistant. Tear resistant. Thermal and cold crack resistant and abrasion, smudge and scuff resistant. Low static.
Approvals:
Both the PPG Teslin® and marine grade adhesive are BS5609 certified.
The adhesive is suitable for indirect contact with food stuffs in accordance with the USA Code of Federal Regulations, 21 CFR., Chp.1., Part 175, Sub parts A+B, Section 175-105 “Adhesives”, 21 CFR 176-170.

Adhesive
A high tack permanent acrylic adhesive, suitable for adhesion on a range difficult surfaces. Good humidity and water resistance to Marine grade BS5609 certification and suitable for indirect contact with food stuffs.

Shelf Life and Storage Conditions
One years from delivery date when stored at the following conditions:
Temperature +5°C/+35°C Store away from heaters or direct sunlight or rain
Relative Humidity 45% - 60% Keep the sheets flat
Store in a cool dry place Store in the original packaging
Printing tips
Always trial new materials to determine suitability for printing and application. Remember to use the correct thickness settings for this material. If the sheet is being fed face down and the run is interrupted for short periods, it is advisable to turn the top two sheets over so that the plastic face is on top which will help to prevent moisture absorption. Replace unused material in the re-sealable bag provided.
Suitable for all printing processes, however UV Flexography will require a primer prior to applying UV curable inks.
